"It's already 2015 but I still can't accept the fact that Kris and Luhan left EXO," tweeted Claire with the hashtag. "It still hurts."
After failing to reach separate agreements with record label SM Entertainment, Kris and Luhan will reportedly enter another round of court-referred mediation on the same day next year.
According to allkpop, a third round of mediation will take place for Kris on January 16, while the same will be done for Luhan's second mediation after failing to reach an agreement. Reportedly, their respective meetings will take place within 40 minutes of each other.
"It was a place for us to tell each other our position," said SM Entertainment's legal rep according to allkpop after Luhan's first mediation.
Reportedly, Luhan claimed that SM Entertainment treated EXO-K differently than EXO-M.
"SM treated EXO-K, filled with Korean members, differently from how they treated the EXO-M members with Chinese members," said Luhan through the alleged lawsuit. "From the beginning of our debut, EXO-K received support from SM and actively did promotions, but EXO-M had no promotions, received no financial backing, and endured a difficult time."
If a compromise is not reached during mediation, both lawsuits will be taken to court.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment has released a teaser for EXO, alluding to an early 2015 comeback for the K-pop group.
"I'm so thankful to our members of EXO-L, the people who have helped us shine and the managers who have worked tirelessly for us," wrote EXO member Chanyeol on Instagram on the day the teaser released. "You can trust and follow us, okay? We love you."
