Watch Chanyeol’s Teaser For “Roommate” as He Enters a House Full of Celebrities

With the upcoming broadcast of SBS‘ “Roommate,” the recently released teaser video of EXO‘s Chanyeol gave a sneak peak as to how it would be like to live in a house full of celebrities. 

The teaser video included the EXO member showing a small glimpse of EXO’s dorm, a dorm many fans would love to check out. Furthermore, the teaser showed Chanyeol getting along with his new roommate, veteran actor Shin Sung Woo. Despite the age difference, Chanyeol’s friendliness had allowed the two unlikely roommates to bond during their stay at the share house. 

 

Of course, Chanyeol could not avoid showing his role as an EXO member to the other housemates as the rapper briefly showed off the dance move for EXO’s hit song “Growl.” Although short, the teaser video stirred much anticipation for the upcoming new and refreshing show. SBS’ “Roommate” will broadcast its first episode on May 4 at 4:20 PM (KST). Check out the teaser below!

Lee Young Ae Would Welcome A Second Season Of "Dae Jang Geum"

It's rare that a k-drama gets a second season but when the drama is as popular as "Dae Jang Geum" was, it should probably not be a surprise.

To imagine just how well liked the 2003 drama was, consider the popularity of "Empress Ki" but with twice the ratings.

"Dae Jang Geum," the story of a kitchen cook, who became the king's first female physician, had ratings of 57.8 percent with an average viewership rating of 46.3 percent. It was the 10^th highest rated k-drama of all time and became one of the most successful Hallyu exports worldwide.

Secret’s Jun Hyosung Dishes on Dating and Upcoming Solo Debut in Sure Magazine

Secret’s Jun Hyosung revealed that dating is hard.

Through an interview in May’s volume of the fashion magazine Sure, Jun Hyosung revealed that “Dating is hard. I don’t know how to truthfully express myself towards people that I like.”

She continued on by saying, “If someone shows me that they like me, I do get excited, but I don’t know what to do about it. If the person that I like suddenly said they like me too, then it gets worse. I contemplate on it and eventually become alone. It has been a while since I’ve felt nervous about someone.”

Jun Hyosung is currently preparing for her solo activity in May and said, “I’m thinking about the concept. I want to show a different image from when I was performing as a member of Secret. I want to show a fresh image that no one has done before but at the same time that matches me.”

Sunmi shows off her double attraction as an innocent yet sexy lady as she poses in the May 2014 issue of NYLON Magazine.

The singer, who made a comeback in the music industry last year with a sexy concept, shows off another side to her charms in this photo shoot where she transforms into an innocent and delicate lady dressed up in clothes perfect for spring.

One of the photos show her as a sweet lady dressed in an all-white form-fitting one piece dress, paired with a beret, pulled-up white socks, and gold slip-ons.

Another photo of Sunmi has her in a more casual white see-through blouse with denim pocket and cuff detail, matched with denim slip-ons.

Sunmi, formerly of the Wonder Girls, has made her debut as a solo singer last year with the title song “24 Hours.” She made her comeback February this year with “Full Moon.”

‘From TOP’ Exhibition Postponed Shared by vic on April 28, 2014

On April 28, YG Entertainment announced through its website that the From TOP Exhibition will be postponed. The event was set to open from May 1 to May 4.

The notice started off with YG Entertainment sending their deepest condolences to the victims and their families of the Sewol tragedy. It explained that the exhibition will be postponed with details of the new dates to be posted in the near future.

The company explained that already purchased tickets will still be accepted when the exhibition opens up, and apologized for the change of dates.

“Once again, we express our deepest condolences to the victims and their families, and earnest pray that the missing will return safely.”

The From TOP Exhibition was scheduled to be held at the Holim Art Center in Gangnam to celebrate the release of T.O.P’s 1st Pictorial Records From TOP, a collection of photos and videos that record the Big Bang member at the age of 27.

Lee Bo Young’s Stunt Double Compliments Her on Her Dedication

Even Lee Bo Young’s stuntwoman for “God’s Gift – 14 Days” was amazed by the actress’s dedication.

Lee Bo Young’s stuntwoman, Kim Soo Young, said, “We’ve been filming for about two to three months now, and my whole body is covered in bruises. Because the outfits are tight, it’s impossible to wear any sort of padding, so my knees and elbows are always bruised.”

Lee Bo Young commented on this: “I thought it was a bit too much. Seeing not a man, but a delicate woman as a stunt double made me so apologetic.”

Kim Soo Young said, “I get worried because the same goes for Lee Bo Young, and she could get hurt. Her outfit is tight, which prevents her from wearing padding. But her style is to go all out, even though there are other actors who get upset even when they just fall. Nothing deters her, and she always tells me that she’ll do the action scenes…I’m always thankful.”

Following the end of “God’s Gift – 14 Days” will be “Doctor Stranger,” starring Lee Jong Suk, Park Hae Jin, Jin Se Yeon, and Kang So Ra. “Doctor Stranger” will air on May 5.

Block B Cancels Comeback Altogether 2014-04-29 List Major News More Service

A slew of comebacks have been sitting on the back burner in the wake of the Sewol ferry sinking, but Block B will no longer be a part of it.

According to Seven Season's official twitter, following the announcement of the group's comeback delay on April 16th, Block B has decided to cancel their coemback schedule for the single "Jackpot" altogether. The reason for the cancelation is because this is a time of national mourning over the Sewol ferry victims, thus the agency felt it would be difficult to promote a new album. The agency made sure to apologize to the fans that have been waiting patiently all this time, and promised that after the group's first solo concert "2014 Blockbuster", Block B will release a new album as soon as possible.

BoA's Hollywood Debut Movie “Make Your Move” Only Draws 10,000 to Theaters

BoA received a low report card on her Hollywood debut.

Movie "Make Your Move", known to be BoA's first Hollywood movie, drew 61 people to 5 screenings on April 27. Since its April 17 opening, only 9277 viewers have watched the movie, placing it at #43 on the weekend box office. The limited screening and depressed social atmosphere due to the Sewol sinking did not help in the movie's success. The movie is projected to be taken out theaters starting this week.

Worse is the movie's US records. After its premiere on April 18, "Make Your Move" collected profits of $81,172 during its first weekend. The total sales after April 27 is $120,200, which does not exceed production costs.

"Make Your Move" is a romance movie about the love between Donnie and Aiya, who grew up in completely different environments, falling in love through their love for dance. The movie was projected to exceed $6,300,000 in profit over 54 countries prior to release.

BoA was handed a disappointing score on her first Hollywood debut; all eyes are on her next Korean movie, "Big Match", to premiere soon in theaters.

Infinite’s Woohyun and Sungyeol, 4Minute’s Jihyun Confirmed to Star in “High School”

4Minute’s Nam Jihyun has been cast alongside Infinite’s Woohyun and Sungyeol in the upcoming KBS 2TV drama “High School” (working title).

On April 29, a KBS representative told OSEN, “Woohyun and Sungyeol accepted the casting offer as the male leads after thinking it over. We are in the final stages of casting the female lead as well as the rest of the cast. Filming will start some time during the next month.

In addition, a representative of Infinite’s agency, Woollim Entertainment revealed, “We are currently adjusting their schedules. As long as there is no conflict, the casting arrangements will continue as planned.

A representative from 4Minute’s agency, Cube Entertainment also said, “Jihyun has decided to take up the offer for ‘High School.’ She will act as the female lead and will be participating in the script reading at the beginning of May.”

“High School” is a teen drama with a coming-of-age storyline revolving around love and friendship among high school students.

Jin Se Yeon Takes On Dual Roles In "Doctor Stranger"

Jin Se Yeon has had some difficult roles. She played a freedom fighter and Joo Won's tragic bride in "Bridal Mask."

Then she played Kim Hyun Joong's childhood friend and ally in "Inspiring Generation." But now she will be playing two very different roles in the same upcoming drama.

This will be very confusing for the character played by her co-star Lee Jong Suk. His character Park Hoon left Song Jae Hee behind in North Korea when he defected to the south.

Shot on various locations in Tokyo, the spread shows glimpses of HyunA enjoying Tokyo’s spring season.
