Boys Republic continues debut countdown with video teaser for Dabin

Universal Music Group, one the largest music corporations in the world, will finally introduce its first K-Pop group ‘Boys Republic’ in the local market next month. After introducing members Suwoong, Minsu, and  Sungjun,  the group has now revealed a video teaser for Dabin.

Boys Republic will make their official debut on June 5 with first single titled, “Party Rock”. The group is made up of five members, Suwoong,  Minsoo,  Sungjun,  Dabin  and  Wonjun,    and is said to have enlisted the help of one of Korea’s top producer and composer Park Geun Tae, and Europe’s best composing team Dsign Music for their debut.

B.A.P. was interviewed by Fuse

When asked on how US tour is different, B.A.P.  answered that they added some stuffs which are exclusive for the Americans that will surely move them and that one of the considerations that they focused on is the language. Shinhwa performs the 'Solver' choreo after winning on 'Music Bank'

Shinhwa proved that they are men with honor as they kept their promise to their fans.

Shinhwa promised that they would do a portion of  "The Solver" choreography if they won on  ' Music Bank. And they won!

After that victory, a few of the members did a little bit of the choreo on the encore stage, but they made sure that you could play it all over again as they uploaded the video on You Tube.

JYJ's Junsu saved by ‘ArcheAge’ user ‘Moohwal’

JYJ's Junsu is faced in a controversy that didn't actually start from his actions, but from an outside force.

It is known in Korea that  JYJ's Junsu is the sole owner of the controversial  blue Lamborghini Aventador. So it's automatic that when you see someone going inside it like the picture above, you'll think immediately that it's Junsu.

However, the photo above reveals another person, he is  ‘ArcheAge’ user Moohwal. He's a close friend of Junsu. Unfortunately, that picture sparked up a lot of criticism against Junsu for 'showing off'.

Moohwal broke his silence and said, “I actually called Junsu hyung to ask permission if i could give a proof about the car.  But I was so upset on myself that I pretended like hyung’s car is mine, and fought with the others. Junsu hyung was really hurt by this even though he had nothing to do with it. I'm coming out to save him from the criticism that he doesn't deserve.“

Boyfriend to hold solo concert in Japan this weekend

Idol group Boyfriend will be holding their second exclusive concert in Japan this weekend.

According to Starship Entertainment, Boyfriend will hold a two-day concert titled ‘BOYFRIEND LOVE COMMUNICATION 2013 – SEVENTH MISSION’ from June 1st to 2nd in Tokyo and Osaka, expecting about 15,000 audiences. Especially, the concert in Osaka will be broadcast live in Japanese theaters all over Japan.

Boyfriend members said, “We are so grateful and happy that we received much love and attention in Japan. We will work harder to show our better side of us.”

Boyfriend released its first official Japanese album ‘SEVENTH MISSION’ on May 29th and debuted 4th in Japan’s Oricon Daily Album chart.

Shinhwa tops Taiwanese music charts with ‘The Classic’

Shinhwa’s 11th album is continuing its domination across Asia

The group’s 11th album ‘The Classic’ has placed in the number one spots in Taiwan, ranking #1 on Five Music and Chia Chia Record’s weekly charts. In addition, Shinhwa topped Five Top’s Japan and Korean Weekly Album chart for the week of May 17 to May 23.

An official from Shinhwa’s management agency Shinhwa Company said, “We are glad that Shinhwa topped in Taiwanese music charts. They will be paying back many fans’ love with a great Asia Tour.”

Jang Geun Suk and 2PM make hot debut on Oricon Charts

Hallyu stars Jang Geun Suk and 2PM have created a buzz in Japan’s music industry as they are ranked high on the Oricon charts.

According to the Oricon Chart website, Jang Geun Suk’s second studio album ‘Nature Boy’ sold 43,657 copies on the day of its release, debuting on the no.1 spot of the Oricon Daily Album Chart.

2PM nabbed the runner-up position with their sixth single ‘Give Me Love’ after selling 81,825 copies upon its release that day.

Meanwhile, idol group Boyfriend first album in Japan, ‘Seventh Mission’ was ranked fourth on Oricon’s Daily Album Chart.

Sexy diva Lee Hyori, who recently made a comeback with “Bad Girls”, expressed her great love for her boyfriend Lee Sang Soon.

On May 29th, Lee Hyori appeared on MBC ‘Golden Fishery - Radio Star’ with Moon Hee Jun and Kim Jong Min. During the episode, Lee Hyori showed her tough attraction as well as talked about her boyfriend, Lee Sang Soon.

When Lee Hyori was asked what she thinks about Lee Sang Soon, she answered, “He may not be the type that looks very attractive at first sight, but he grows more charming as you get to know him.” She added, “I hope him to be the last man in my life.”

B2ST reveals more details on upcoming exclusive concert

Before launching their new album in July, B2ST plans to hold fan meetings and an exclusive concert for the fans.

B2ST will hold special comeback concert ‘2013 Beautiful Show’ for 2 days from July 20 to 21 at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. This will be the group’s fourth exclusive concert, and it expects to gather more than 25,000 audiences.

The group started its own solo concert series entitled ‘Beautiful Show’ last year, holding a concert in Korea and even embarked on a world tour in various countries, proving itself as one of leaders in K-Pop.

Tickets for the concert will be available through Interpark starting June 3 at 8:00PM (KST).

‘W Korea’ recently released their 100th anniversary issue titled ‘100 Brands, 100 Goddesses’, with Girls’ Generation Sooyoung involved in one of the photo shoots. It shows Sooyoung in a mysterious mood carrying a cool blue colored bag under ‘DOUBLE-M’ brand.

Girls’ Generation members visited the drama set of tvN’s ‘Dating Agency: Cyrano’ to show their support for fellow member Sooyoung.

Super Junior-M’s Henry releases video teaser for ‘Trap’ ft. Kyuhyun and Taemin

Returning to the music scene as a solo artist, Super Junior-M’s Henry has just unveiled his first video teaser first mini album ‘Trap’.

On May 31, SM Entertainment’s official homepage and Youtube channel posted new video for Henry’s solo debut. As this is Henry’s first time ever going solo, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and SHINee’s Taemin made special guest appearance to show their support. The two idols are said to have also participated in Henry’s album.

Henry will be releasing his first solo mini album ‘Trap’ on June 7th and will promote his album in Korea.

2PM’s Junho sweeps Tower Record’s pre-order chart with solo album

2PM’s member Junho, who is gearing up to make a Japanese solo debut this coming July, dominated the Tower Record’s pre-order chart in Japan.

Junho’s first solo album ‘Kimi no Koe’ (‘Your Voice’) which to be released on July 24th, were spotted in the pre-order chart of Japan’s Tower Records, ranking 1st, 3rd and 7th with 3 versions of the album.

Regarding the feat, Junho said, “I was surprised to hear that all three versions of album ranked in Top 10. I’m very happy and thank you for such love. I will work harder.”

With the release of his debut album, Junho will also kick off his 11-concert Zepp tour across five cities in Japan starting from Sapporo on July 9th.

Roy Kim to hold first concert tour across Korea

Superstar K4’s winner Roy Kim, who recently made his official debut with “Spring Spring Spring”, will be holding his first solo concert tour in Korea this coming July.

Starting with a Busan concert in July 6, Roy Kim will perform in Seoul from July 13-14, Daejun on July 19 and Daegu on July 20, visiting a total of four cities. In the concerts, Roy Kim plans to perform some famous songs he sang in Superstar K4 and songs by senior musicians that he admires.

Roy Kim said, “Fans’ biggest love helped me to stand on a stage and sing. I thank each one of them so much and much like when I won my audition, it is something I am excited for and I feel good about.”

Happy couple Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won release wedding pictorial

After revealing their wedding invitation, the soon-to-be-married couple of singer Baek Ji Young and actor Jung Suk Won have now revealed their beautiful wedding pictorial.

Before walking down the aisle, Baek Ji Young’s agency, WS Entertainment, released two photos from the couple’s wedding shoot. In the photos, the couple look blissfully happy and posing as if they are dancing a waltz. The other cut shows Jung Suk Won smiling happily while lifting Baek Ji Young up.

The wedding will be held on June 2nd at W Seoul Walker Hill Hotel in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul. Singer Kim Sung Soo of Cool, who is also known to have introduced the couple to each other, will take the microphone as the MC.
