The second concert of KCON 2014 offered more impressive k-pop talent as well as the U.S. debut of the girl group Spica and Superstar K winner Jung Joon Young.
The show began with the Bangtan Boys who performed at the top of their game. They demonstrated their karate-inspired moves and razor sharp rapping skills while singing "Bulletproof" and other songs. The band's moves are so in synch that it's easy to imagine that they finish each other's sentences.

After that Jung Joon Young showed the audience why he won out over 80,000 competitors on Superstar K. While he might look like someone's shy kid brother, this singer has a voce that can make an audience tremble. The way his voice resonates is almost startling. He sang "Sense of an Ending," "Hold On" and "Teenager," then did a duet with Rap Monster to a Michael Jackson song.
Spica made their U.S. debut at the concert and may have claimed the title of k-pop's sexiest girl group. With their rich sultry voices and cut-out leather costumes, they looked stunnung while belting out jazzy numbers such as "You Don't Love Me," "Painkiller," "Diggity" and "Tonight."
CNBLUE was one of the crowd's favorites, proving yet again how different they are from other k-pop bands by playing their own instruments. Jung Yong Hwa played both the guitar and the keyboard. The band performed a set of five songs, including "Can't Stop Me Now," "I'm Sorry," and "Because I Love You."
But the show's final act and the crowd's favorite was Girls Generation. After apologizing for staying away from their American fans for so long, the band showed audiences just why they became popular, charming the crowd with plenty of personality and style while they sang such favorites as "Gee" and "Mr. Mr."
Altogether it was a great night for k-pop fans.
