WINNER, who are pictured at the SBS Gayo Awards, are leading the New Artist Division for the Golden Disk Awards.
YG Entertainment’s rookie group WINNER continues to go against the JYP Entertainment group GOT7 in the New Artist category for the 29th Golden Disk Awards. With nineteen days to go until the awards, WINNER leads the popular vote for the New Artist Award Division with a very small margin. WINNER fans (Inner Circle) have given the group a slight edge with 48.91% of the popular vote versus 48.75% for GOT7.
SHINee’s Taemin currently leads the Album Division for his solo release “Ace,” maintaining a small lead over EXO who is in second place for the popular vote with “Overdose.” Taemin’s “Ace” has received 194,318 (16.8%) of the popular vote versus 177,775 (14.71%) for EXO’s “Overdose.”
In the Digital Album Division, Beast is competing closely with Girls’ Generation. Beast is nominated for their 2014 hit “Good Luck” while Girls’ Generation is competing with “Mr.Mr.” Beast currently leads the division with 36.30% of the popular vote (198, 260 total) versus 32.60% for Girls’ Generation (178, 053).
More than two million fan votes have been cast through the mobile voting system.

The 29th Golden Disk Awards are a two-day event which will be held in Beijing on January 14-15.
