Electro hip-hop group Far East Movement has released the second part of their “KTown Riot” documentary series. The group, which calls Los Angeles (LA) Koreatown home, launched the series in conjunction with their “KTown Riot” album. Far East Movement are responsible for the hit songs “Like a G6,” “Live My Life,” and “The Illest.”

Part one of the series was released through the LA Weekly while the second part premiered on Yahoo Music on December 10.

The “KTown Riot” documentary series provides an in-depth look at the 1992 LA Riots and its impact on the community. Due to its large number of bars and restaurants, Koreatown is known as a party spot for more LA residents. But this portion of the city was ravaged in the midst of the LA Riots, when racial tensions within the city reached a boiling point.

The mini documentary features prominent members of the Koreatown community including Dumfoundead, Paul Kim, and DJ Zo.

Far East Movement released their latest EP, “KTown Riot” on October 28. The six track album contains the club bangers ‘Bang It To The Curb” and “Grimey Thirsty.”
