With the Ministry of Justice, Infinite′s Sung Jong traveled down to Busan to help victims of arson get back on their feet as soon as possible.
On April 20, Sung Jong and a group of volunteers went down to Busan, where a building was recently burned down by arson. Together, Sung Jong and the volunteers helped to clean up the area and try to restore normalcy back into the families that lost their homes through arson.
With the lack of volunteers and attention to issues similar to this, the Human Rights Support Division of the Ministry of Justice and the Busan Crime Victim Center ′Sunshine′ will be using Sung Jong′s kind actions as an example and publicize for more support.
"Sung Jong didn′t act like a celebrity at all and arrived on set early in the morning and cleaned up the area with the other volunteers," said the person in charge of the service. "It wasn′t a simple volunteer service where he just took pictures. He didn′t hold back on cleaning up the place, so we want to express our gratitude."
Sung Jong also promised to do his best to make people more aware of protecting and supporting victims of crime by continuing to volunteer.
