GOT7 is quickly rising as one of the hottest rookie groups in China, winning awards at three major award shows within days of each another.
GOT7 won the Asia Fashion Influence Group Award at China′s Fashion Power Awards on April 10. Fashion Power was created in 1993 by the biggest collective of fashion magazine publishers in China, which include Cosmo, Bazaar and more.
On April 11, GOT7 picked up the Best Newcomer Award Korea at the 3rd YinYueTai V-Chart Awards held in Beijing. The YinYueTai V-Chart is one of China′s major music site, and the award ceremony is one of the biggest of its kind attended by China′s top stars and hallyu stars alike.
GOT7 won the Most Promising Newcomer Award at the 15th Top Chinese Music Festival, held at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center on April 13. The award ceremony is hosted by famous Chinese music chart Enlight Media and widely recognized in China.
GOT7 stated at the ceremony, "We were able to receive such a precious award thanks to the Chinese media and our fans who have shown us such warm interest and love. With sincere thanks, we will return the favor with better music and performances."
With each award, GOT7 is solidifying its status as hallyu stars
GOT7 is a seven-member group made of up members JB, Jr., Youngjae, Yugyeom, Jackson, Mark and Bam Bam. Within a year of its debut, GOT7 has been rising in popularity, winning numerous awards.
