Actor is currently in talks to star as the male lead in KBS’ new Friday drama “Orange Marmalade.”
On February 9, a representative of the actor’s agency, Janus Entertainment, told MBN Star, “Yeo Jin Goo has received a casting offer for the lead role in ‘Orange Marmalade’ and is currently looking it over.”
The rep continued, “While he has received the offer, he is still reviewing it. The specific details will be decided after the Lunar New Year.”
“Orange Marmalade” is based on an original webtoon series by the same name. It is a fantasy romance that tells the love story between a transfer student named Baek Ma Ri, who hides her identity as a vampire, and a popular male student named Jung Jae Min.
If Yeo Jin Goo accepts the offer, it will be his first return to the small screen since starring in tvN’s “Potato Star,” which ended its run in May of last year.
The production team of “Orange Marmalade” is in the middle of lining up a cast, aiming to premiere this coming May.
