Amidst many rumors of disbandment, Star Empire Entertainment released an official report.
According to the agency on November 18th, nothing has been confirmed. Baby J (Jooyeon)'s contract has ended and Semi's contract is set to end in the middle of this month. However, a disbandment has not been confirmed.
Star Empire Entertainment shared details of some of the members' current activities. Semi is in the middle of filming for the sitcom "Boarding House No. 24". When the sitcom ends, the company will then discuss a possible future for Semi to continue as a Jewelry member.
Earlier this year, member Eunjung had left the group leaving just Yewon, Semi, and Baby J. With Semi and Baby J's future with Jewelry left up in the air, fans are concerned that the group would then be no more being that it would be difficult for Yewon to be a one-woman show.
