SBS’ new Wednesday—Thursday drama starring actors Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin, “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” is showing its potential with 9.3% in viewers ratings for the very first broadcast on July 23.
According to Nielson Korea on the July 24, the premiere of “It’s Okay, It’s Love” recorded viewer ratings of 9.3% nationwide and 11% in the metropolitan area.
Despite the relatively high viewer ratings, some critics have pointed out at the first episode spent much of the time introducing the main characters as well as the supporting characters, causing a bit of a distraction for the viewers.
During the same time slot, KBS 2TV’s “The Joseon Gunman,” starring Lee Jun Ki and Nam Sang Mi, maintained its position at number one in terms of viewers ratings with 11.6%.
