Girls' Generation Are 'The Best' In Japan With Chart-Topping Album And Sold Out Concert Tour

With Girls' Generation just recently wrapping up their third tour in Japan, it is no surprise that their new album, 'The Best,' ranks number one on Japan's definitive music chart, Oricon. The album contains the famed K-Pop girl group's hit tracks from the years 2010 through 2014.  It also features a brand new song, "Indestructible."

Girls' Generation released the best-of album on July 23rd and it currently ranks number one on Japan's Oricon music chart Oricon.  The album has already sold more than 35,000 copies.

During Girls' Generation's recent 'GIRLS' GENERATION~LOVE & PEACE~ JAPAN 3rd Tour' in Japan, a total of 200,000 fans attended their three-hour-long performances. Girls' Generation kicked off their tour on April 26th in Fukuoka then visited different prefectures of Japan including Kobe, Hiroshima, Nagoya, and Osaka. Girls' Generation visted seven cities for a total of seventeen live concerts.

In each of their extensive performances, Girls' Generation performed a total of twenty-eight songs including fan-favorites like "Gee," "Genie," "I Got A Boy," and "Mr. Mr." Including their previous hit singles, Girls' Generation also performed their new ballad single titled, "Indestructible".
