Girls Day Minah & Soccer Player Son Heung-min Caught On A Date 2014-07-30 List Major News More Service

It was a field day for media sources as yet anther idol star was caught up in a dating scandal. This time, a media source released photos of Girls Day's Minah and soccer player Son Heung-min on a date.

According to "The Fact", Minah and Son were allegedly on two dates, spending a total of about four hours together on July 16th and 17th. On the 17th, Minah was seen leaving with a bouquet of flowers given to her by Son.

After a number of conflicting reports, Minah's agency DreamT finally confirmed that the two had been on two dates together. They connected through SNS, expressing their admiration for each other's work, and developed enough positive feelings for one another to go on two dates.
However, that is reportedly the extent of it so far. Son returned to join his team for training on July 19th.

Nine Muses Pushes Back Comeback To September

Girl group Nine Muses, who planned to return to the music scene in August after the addition of new members to the group, pushed their comeback date to September.

Nine Muses has previously announced that they will replace Sera, who left the group due to expiration of contract, with a new member and return in the Fall.

On July 30, one agency staff stated: "Two girls are being considered to be the new member of Nine Muses, but nothing has been set yet. The group will come back as a whole around September."

Nine Muses is a popular girl group among male fans for their model-like bodies. Kyung Ri has recently appeared in Homme's music video of title song "It Girl."

Kim Jong Kook’s Fans Gift ‘Running Man’ Team with Chicken Soup

Kim Jong Kook’s fan club ‘Papitus’ gifted the Running Man staff with samgyetang (chicken soup with ginseng).

On July 29, Kim Jong Kook’s fans sent over samgyetang enough to feed 150 people to the Art Park located in Gyeonggi province.

The food truck also included other buffet food and beverages, making everyone, who was tired from filming in the hot weather, cheer out in joy.

Urban Works Entertainment, Kim Jong Kook’s agency, stated, “Papitus has been sending lunch boxes over every year on Kim Jong Kook’s birthday or debut anniversary. This time, they decided to send over samgyetang for Jungbok (one of the hottest days of the year), and Kim Jong Kook was very grateful for the fans’ gift.”

On July 28, Hot Jack Got RG Facebook posted, "Singers cheering on Hot Jack God RG," and included videos of IU, GOT7, and APink.

In the video, IU said, "I heard that the Hot Jack God RG will have a 'Wish' concert if they reach 69,950 likes on Facebook. I will cheer them on, especially Danny oppa." IU has revealed in the past that she was a big fan of g.o.d.

GOT7 said, "We hope you succeed and we will cheer you on," and Apink said, "We hope you can have great performances. We will go click 'like' as soon as we get home!"

Hot Jack Got RG only reached 44,000 likes, but still prepared a concert in the CGV Cinecity MCube concert for their fans.

Super Junior's Lee Teuk Released From Military 2014-07-29 List Major News More Service

The leader of one of the biggest groups -- figuratively and literally -- in k-pop is back! Lee Teuk has fulfilled his military duties and was released July 29th.

The entertainer was officially discharged on the morning of the 29th at Injegun in Gangwon Province. He quietly left the site without any public greeting leaving behind fans and reporters unsatisfied. However, Lee Teuk will be holding a more official fan meeting later on the same day.

After enlisting on October 30th of 2012, Lee Teuk was discharged after 21 months os serving in the 306th battalion in Uijeongbu of Gyeonggi Province.

Girl′s Day Minah′s Agency Confirms She is Dating Son Heung Min

Following much confusion, Girl′s Day Minah′s agency Dream T Entertainment stepped out to confirm that Minah and soccer player Son Heung Min actually are dating.

The agency cleared everything up with an official press release.

"We checked with Minah, and heard that she met Son Heung Min twice with good feelings. They became friends through a social network as fans, and started to really see each other before Son Heung Min left for Germany," the agency said in the release.

It added, "Minah was worried that confirming the relationship when they just started it after seeing each other just two times would be a burden on Son Heung Min and Girl′s Day. This is especially because Son Heung Min will soon be competing in his league and Girl′s Day is currently promoting."

It then apologized, "We want to apologize to the fans and press for causing such confusion."

TaeTiSeo In Talks To Have Their Own Reality Show And Suggest A Comeback Is Not Far Off

TaeTiSeo - made up of Girls' Generation members Tiffany, Seohyun, and Taeyeon, who first banded together on April 19, 2012 - has revealed that they could possibly have their own reality show on Korean cable channel OnStyle.  Representatives of the trio are reportedly currently in talks with the network, signaling that a comeback for the sub-unit might not be far off.

One representative for CJ E&M told media outlets on July 26th, "We are in talks to air a show with TaeTiSeo as one of OnStyle's real-star series following 'Jessica&Krystal' this fall... We are in the early stage of planning. Their agency SM Entertainment reps have not given a definite reply yet... Because we are still in talks, the title, format, and broadcast date have not been decided yet."

The TaeTiSeo reality show is reportedly going to follow 'Jessica&Krystal,' OnStyle's popular program following SM Entertainment's Jung sisters Jessica (of Girls' Generation) and Krystal (of f(x)).  The show follows the pop stars through their day-to-day interactions with a strong focus on style and beauty.

While no official plans for a TaeTiSeo comback have been announced, according to music insiders, the three singers are currently busy putting the finishing touches on their upcoming album. The album, however, is expected to drop sometime in August.

Many other K-Pop stars have had reality shows on the OnStyle network offering fans an honest and fun glimpse into their lives. Similar shows have included 'Lee Hyori's X Unni,' 'Jung Joon Young's Be Stupid,' and 'Clara's Like a Virgin,' all of which aired last year.

Secret To Make August Comeback

After seven months, Secret will be making their comeback this August with their fifth mini album, titled "Secret Summer".

The title song will be called "I'm In Love". According to earlier reports, Secret will be working with the hit composing team Duble Sidekick and Zanybros for their music video. The dance team PLAY will be behind the group's choreography.

The new album will be released August 11th showing off a more womanly, mature side to the group.

K-Pop Crossover: 'The Dream' Director Jennifer Linch Examines Martial Arts Moves In K-Pop Videos [EXCLUSIVE]

San Diego-based director, actor, writer and pinup model Jennifer Linch hasn't been sleeping much lately.

Born in Can Tho, Vietnam, the multi-faceted star has been hard at work on her upcoming action comedy "The Dream," the culmination of her six years of karate training.

Earlier this month, Linch spoke to KpopStarz about a trend she has noticed of K-pop stars mixing music with martial arts in their videos.

"The Baekho teaser [for NU'EST's new video 'Face'] has excellent cinematography, which is my main focus in any of my martial arts films," Linch said.

"The slow motion adds a dramatic look to the feel of the video. They have the best cinematographer and editor in the industry [Kyle Hanagami ] to do this clip. The lighting and sound are perfect. The talent in the video really knows martial arts. The way Baekho holds the katana shows his years of practicing. This video is mesmerizing."

But K-pop artists evoking martial arts movies isn't just a recent phenomenon. The mid-20s model-turned-director also cited TVXQ's 2011 hit "Before U Go" as an excellent example of fighting moves set to music.

"The 'Before U Go' video shows a clear understanding of how to make a martial arts project," Linch said. "The choreography is excellent and the editing is at a fast pace with multiple angles that add to the dramatic effect. These actors do know martial arts, which is admirable."

When asked to single out one Hallyu artist that she would most like to work with, Linch picked Tao of the group EXO.

"I have a tremendous respect for his martial arts skills," she said. "These moves would take more than 10 years in training which takes a lot of discipline, hard work and dedication. He is multitalented which is always an attribute that a director like me looks for."

But Linch admits to developing a strong respect for many of South Korean artists clearly well-versed in fighting technique.

"I was surprised that a lot of K-pop stars really have years of training in martial arts, which is very respectable," she said. "I find their talents and skills are very attractive."

T-ara's JiYeon will sing 'Kiss and Cry' with Shorry J and Seunghee as part of Triangle's OST!

T-ara's actress Jiyeon is off to showcase her other talent for MBC's drama titled ' Triangle'!

That would be singing of course following the news that Jiyeon will be releasing ' Kiss and Cry' together with Mighty Mouth's Shorry J and F-ve Doll's Seunghee as part of the drama's official soundtrack.

'Kiss and Cry' is composed by Cho Young Soo who was also behind T-ara's hit songs like 'Day by Day', 'Cry Cry', 'First Love', etc.  This song will present a Latin Pop sound accompanied by a beautiful melody.

The song will be released on the 29th at noon so stay tuned for that!

The nation's MC, Yoo Jae-suk will be hosting a brand new variety show on KBS called "I Am A Man". And the first guest on the show will be one of the nation's little sisters, singer IU.

According to reports, IU has participated in the filming for the first episode already. This follows the successful pilot episode which featured miss A's Suzy.

The first episode of "I Am A Man" will air August 8th.
