On April 30, US Billboard charts uploaded a post titled "Top 10 K-Pop Girl Groups You Need to Know" on their K-Pop column "K-Town".
According to the post, S.E.S was voted as the best first generation girl group. Billboard commented that S.E.S was "a group that brought a new sensation to K-Pop during the early 1990s to the late 2000s." Referring to Girls' Generation, they also remarked: "The music video for 'Gee' alone spiked 1,000,000 views on Youtube."
Fin.K.L was introduced as the rival group of S.E.S, and Lee Hyori was stated to be "one of the most successful K-Pop female solo artists."
Besides these groups, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, BabyVOX, Brown Eyed Girls, Jewelry, and SISTAR also made the list.
