As the lawsuit scandal continues for Kris, EXO, and SM Entertainment, a series of petitions have appeared online demanding change from the agency.
"CEO of SM Entertainment, has recently forced members of their group EXO to turn against their own member, Kris (or Wu Yifan) just because he filed a court case for his civil rights," says such a petition on Change.org.

"This petition asks that they treat their artists with more respect, and control towards their personal lives, as well as fair pay and rest time for each and every single one of their artists."
As of May 17, over 8,000 signatures have been acquired by this petition.
A similar petition is also gaining momentum on Tumblr, which demands that K-pop fans upset with the EXO and Kris situation stop watching SM's YouTube channel. It also recommends unfollowing the label on Twitter and Facebook, and trend the Twitter hashtag #STOPSMENT.
The post has been reblogged and liked over 10,000 times.
In addition, EXO fans have been very active on Twitter as well, and some are using the social media portal to demand a change in CEO at SM Entertainment.
The current CEO is Kim Young-min, and fans are demanding that SM founding chairman Lee Soo-man take over as chief executive officer. This is due to the belief that Kim Young-min has taken SM Entertainment in the wrong direction, causing many lawsuits and disagreements between SM and its artists like EXO, TVXQ, and Super Junior.
Meanwhile, publications such as allkpop are posting the first reactions by EXO-M members since the lawsuit. However, some commentators continue to believe that quotes and social media posts from EXO members are fake, and controlled by SM staff members.
