If you ever see any of the members of EXO miss a step or two in their choreography for “Overdose,” if it’s ever gonna happen, cut them some slack because the boys probably just got confused with the all eight choreography they had to memorize for their comeback song!
In the May 23 episode of the Mnet show “Hot Moment xoxo EXO,” the show followed the group in their first performances on the Korean and Chinese music shows. Xiumin’s selca as well as Lay and Chen’s fun appearance at the backstage were also shown.
“Hot Moment” also showed parts of the group’s M! Countdown recording wherein the EXO members were seen meticulously monitoring each other’s choreography as well as the over-all stage production and even the costumes, revealing the group’s real appearance when working.
Also in this episode, EXO’s Suho revealed during their rehearsal for the M! Countdown shoot that they had many versions for the choreography of “Overdose.”
“There are eight versions for the choreography of ‘Overdose’,” Suho said. There is one version for EXO-K’s stage performance and another for the music video, EXO-M also has one version for their stage performance and another for the music video, and there is also a different choreography for the Korean and Chinese version of the performance and music video wherein all the members of EXO are participating, making it a total of eight choreographies.
Wow, that’s a lot of choreography to memorize!
