Earlier this week, in an interview with the South Korean publication Osen, Akdong Musician singer, guitarist and producer Lee Chan Hyuk explained that though several veteran K-pop stars have expressed an eagerness to drink with him in the future, he intends to stay sober.

Though it may seem like the entertainment scene is stockpiled with partiers, there are to shortage of sober stars. Here are our top five favorites.
Jennifer Lopez
Not only does the "American Idol" judge not drink, she doesn't smoke either.
"I think that ruins your skin," said the star to InStyle. "Of course, during celebratory toasts, everybody's like, 'You can't toast with water!' So I'll toast with alcohol and just take a sip."
Could her sobriety by the secret to her beauty?
Keith Urban
Although the country singer struggled with alcoholism in the past, Keith Urban has been sober for six years.
"The truth is that I wasn’t even aware of where it was at in my life and how it was just going to come down and take me down like it did,” he told Ellen DeGeneres in 2010. “I was probably in such a state of denial that I consciously wasn’t aware of it.”
According to CelebBuzz, Keith Urban's best secret to staying sober is his wife Nicole Kidman.
Tyra Banks
Much like Jennifer Lopez, Tyra Banks has been sober without any previous struggles of alcoholism.
"I've never had any drugs and I had a little taste of alcohol when I was 12 years old, but that's about it," wrote the model on her website. "I feel like I've been lucky because I don't really have an addictive personality."
"I recently went to Napa, California, and Ilearned how to pair wines with certain tastes, how red wine tastes good with salt and bitter things like lemon So, every now and then I'll order some wine at the table. I'll only take two sips, but I'll keep holding the glass cause it makes me feel sexy, but I still don't drink it because it still tastes kind of nasty to me."
Rob Lowe
The former "Parks and Recreation" star's encounter with rehab is clearly one of success, as the actor has been sober for nearly 24 years.
"It was great. I loved it. Because I was ready. The problem is, people go into rehab and they're not ready," Lowe explained to Piers Morgan in 2011.
"You want to get sober for your parents, you want to get sober for your job, you want to get sober for the cops, you want to get sober to protect your image. A lot of good reasons, by the way, but unfortunately, the only thing that works is that you have to want to get sober for you. So, I was ready."
Jennifer Hudson
While promoting her recent movie "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete," the Oscar-winning singer/actress admitted that she's been sober her entire life.
"I've never done anything, so that was hard to play this role [of a heroin addict]. I've never had a drink in my life. I'm sober. I'm like, 'Okay, this is new to me.' Normally as as actor, you have things to pull from. I was like, 'I don't know what it's like to feel any of that," said Hudson on "Chelsea Lately" last October.
