Lee Jong Suk’s fan club members in Korea and China gifted the star’s drama site with an extravagant buffet meal.
In order to show support for Lee Jong Suk, who is currently acting as doctor ‘Park Hoon’ in SBS’s Doctor Stranger, the actor’s official fan café ‘With J.S’ joined hands with his fan clubs in China to gift the drama cast and staff members with an upscale meal and snacks.
Lee Jong Suk had also gifted the drama staff with ginseng chicken soup with abalones to feed 150 people before the drama started airing in April, proving the drama team with the first ′hwe-shik′ (team meal).
The hotel quality buffet meal sent by the fans made everyone’s jaws to drop in amazement. The menus included main dishes made with lobsters, abalones and steaks cooked on the spot, feeding all staff members, including the ones who arrived later.
Fans also sent over gift sets, which included team t-shirts, exterior cell phone batteries, fans, vitamin beverages, socks as well as lottery tickets with ‘500 won to cure Monday sickness’ written on them, bringing out excitement from the staff members for the fans’ sense of humor.
In order to thank the fans for their generous gift, Lee Jong Suk spent time talking to the fans who came to visit the filming site and expressed his gratitude.
An affiliate of Doctor Stranger said, “I’ve seen many food trucks until now, but this one was the best out of all. We were touched by the actor’s gift in April and now we’re energized by his fans’ great gifts. The staff members thanked the fans directly.”
He also added, “Seeing the actor talking to his fans left an impression. Despite the tight filming schedule, we were able to film hard at night, after having a nice meal and getting better conditions.”
