Actress Gong Hyo-jin has reportedly been in a car accident in the early morning hours of June 19th.
The crash took place at about 1:10 AM on the Yongdong highway in Yongin. Gong was riding in a van, on her way back from filming her current drama "It's Okay, It's Love". Gong's van collided with a truck in the middle of changing lanes. After the two vehicles hit, another oncoming truck couldn't stop in time and consequentially crashed into Gong's van.
All three drivers, along with Gong, have been reported with sustained injuries. Gong suffered a fracture on her left arm in addition to some minor scratches on her face. All four people involved are currently receiving treatment and closer diagnosis at the hospital.
Gong's reps have stated that it will most likely be difficult for the actress to return to filming right away. However, with the drama's airing set for July, the accident isn't expected to affect the drama's airing schedule in any major way.
