2014's goal for this year seems to uncover romantic relationships for all nine members of Girls Generation. This latest media bombshell would bring the current count to five: Yoona, Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Tiffany, and now Taeyeon.
One particular media outlet first broke the news of Taeyeon of Girls Generation dating her label mate Baekhyun of EXO. Photos were taken of the two enjoying a date in Taeyeon's car in the late hours of the night.
The media outlet reported that the two had been dating for about four months in secret. Taeyeon, an industry senior to Baekhyun, provided moral support for him during tough times regarding concert preparations and fellow member Kris's lawsuit against SM Entertainment.
The two allegedly became close during the latter half of last year, and came to be an official couple in February of this year.
A few hours after the report first went public, SM Entertainment stepped forward with an official statement confirming the reports.
An SM rep simply stated that the two started off as close industry senior and junior, but came to develop feelings for each other beyond that and are now in the beginning stages of a romantic relationship.
