CNBLUE celebrates Minhyuk’s birthday in Beijing

CNBLUE’s drummer, Kang Minhyuk, celebrated his birthday with his fellow band members in Beijing.

During the press conference for their solo concert in Beijing on the 28th, CNBLUE members held a surprise birthday party for Kang Minhyuk. The members prepared a birthday cake and sang birthday song together for him. Jung Yonghwa then asked Minhyuk to blow out the candles, and Minhyuk was able to blow them out in one try.

The press conference was attended by approximately 50 different presses, and showed great interests for CNBLUE. The group then held their first solo concert in China on June 29th at Beijing Capital Gymnasium.

Lee Seung Gi wants to enlist as an active duty soldier

Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi spoke up about his plans for military enlistment.

Lee Seung Gi recently participated in an interview with the end of MBC’s ‘Gu Family Book’. When asked about his mandatory army enlistment, he said, “I am definitely going. The reason why I don’t really talk about this matter is because even though I keep thinking that I should go soon, there are a lot of problems such as CF contracts and others.”

He added, “It’s a bit difficult to tell you the exact time right now, but when I’ll enlist, I'll definitely serve as an active duty soldier.”

miss A’s Suzy has been chosen as the top celebrity with the best smartphone skills by the netizens.

Online lecture company SEVENEDU conducted a poll with 540 people from June 11 to 26, asking “Which female celebrity do you think is the most skillful at handling smartphone?” and Suzy gained the highest poll rate of 33%.

SEVENEDU’s online lecturer Cha Gil Young explained, “Suzy topped the poll probably because she is not only one of currently popular idols, but also she has recently shot TV commercial for smartphone.”

The queen of figure skating, Kim Yuna, ranked second with 18% of votes followed by singer IU with 12% of votes, actress Son Ye Jin (10%) and gymnast Son Yeon Jae (6%).

Actor Jung Suk Won made his public appearance and spoke up about the shocking news of his wife, Baek Ji Young’s miscarriage.

On a press conference of movie ‘NLL - The Battle of YeonPyeong Sea’ that was held at Seoul War Memorial Museum, Jung Suk Won made his first public appearance after his wife, Baek Ji Young’s miscarriage and said, “Many people comforted us. I am very thankful.”

2NE1 confirms release date of “Falling in Love”

2NE1 is finally coming back on stage after a year-long break.

YG Entertainment has announced that the girls will join the July battle of K-pop stars with their new title reggae tune “Falling in Love” on July 8. They also plan to promote at least four tracks from July to October.

Along with the announcement, YG Entertainment also updated its blog with a new teaser poster showing bright pink and purple shades of palm trees, perfectly fitting for the summer.

“Falling in Love” is 2NE1’s first-ever summer reggae song that perfectly reflects the group’s unique music style and color, expecting fans’ huge attention and satisfaction.

Idol group INFINITE recently updated its official website with a mysterious teaser, possibly hinting at a comeback. The website welcomes everyone with brand-new INFINITE logo as well as the words, “Destiny”.

Many fans are speculating that the teaser hints for the group’s comeback, especially as INFINITE has announced that they will soon be holding its first ever world tour. Back in May, the group also filmed a music video in Los Angeles’ Universal Studios, building more anticipation.

Magazine Housewife Living recently visited JYJ member Kim Junsu's mother, Yoon Young Mi for an interview. Yoon Young Mi greatly showed their luxury house and left the interviewers in awe as it had almost everything, from a karaoke room to a bar.

During their interview, she was asked about his son's fans who she talks on Twitter. She started with "Junsu's fans are like my daughters whenever they call me 'mom', how I wish as many as them could be my daughter-in-law." She then continued with "They will approach me and will tell me how Junsu gives them energy whenever they feel sad. I am happy whenever I hear Junsu could give that kind of impact to his fans."

Recently, it becomes a trend for idols to promote their universities.

Bang Yedam, K-Pop Star Season 2 runner up, is together with Akdong Musician in YG

After Akdong Musician ,  winner of K-Pop Star Season 2,  signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment,  the runner-up  Bang Yedam   also completed negotiating with the 
agency. Training for Bang Yedam will be on the run.

Meanwhile, Akdong Musician is set to release their debut album by the end of the year.

CNBLUE posts group photo after an energy-filled Beijing concert

CNBLUE members posed for a group photo, as they usually do, with their Beijing fans as they conclude their energy-filled BLUE MOON World Tour Live in Beijing  on June 29.

Yonghwa wrote on their official twitter account,

"eu-ah~~~ This is Yonghwa!!! Today's concert was really fun!!! We and our Beijing fans have poured much of our total energy definitely! Jonghyunie also did his best even though he wasn't feeling well., Jungshinie worked really hard to cover that part, and our Minhyukie also who had his birthday yesterday ke We will come back with more energy! Once again, thank you and we will visit often!!!! Even though our fans couldn't stand up because of restrictions, we understand it as we leave. Until we meet again! M Countdown Halo-Indonesia on July 3 is cancelled

"M!Countdown Halo-Indonesia" which is scheduled to be held in Jakarta on July 3 has been cancelled. It was announced on June 28. The emergency cancellation of the special event is because of the bad weather and other local conditions.

It is supposed to be the first time for the Kpop fans in Indonesia to see a packed-stage of kpop idols but for everyone's safety, it was cancelled 5 days prior to the event. Artists who are supposed to attend are  Shinwha, 2NE1, 2PM, B2ST, MBLAQ, Sistar, Secret, Afterschool, B1A4, TeenTop, 4MINUTE, Roy Kim, and others.

However, don't worry! There are many opportunities to come.

Super Junior Heechul joins Instagram!

As he mentioned before, Super Junior Heechul really joined Instagram.

On his Sungdong Cafe, Heechul mentioned that he will not like make another twitter account after deleting his previous one before. He said that he is considering to create instagram instead.

He really did. On June 30, it was confirmed that the instagram ID kimheenim is definitely Heechul. As to legitimate it, his close friends B2ST Junhyung and Son DamBi are following his account.

Though he hasn't uploaded any photos yet, let's anticipate his future updates from instagram now.

Meanwhile, Heechul who is currently serving his mandatory service is scheduled to be discharged on August 31, two months from now.

G-Dragon to hold an encore solo concert and a 2nd album release!

G-Dragon  is set to hold a two-day solo concert on August 31 and September 1. This will serve an encore for his 'One of a Kind' World Tour and the place for an exclusive performance of his songs from his 2nd album.

G-Dragon will be releasing his new album online on August 14. They decided to release it four days before his birthday because 18th falls on Sunday (weekend).  But he will still have a physical release and music show promotions that will start on his birthday.
