Big Bang’s G-Dragon has ben invited to perform at a series of large-scale concerts in China.
According to YG Entertainment, G-Dragon will be performing at a charity concert hosted by Chinese action star Jackie Chan on September 30th in Hangzhou, and at the upcoming Shanghai Music Festival to be held on October 2nd.
The Jackie Chan charity concert will celebrate Jackie Chan’s appearance in 100 films as well as to raise funds for victims of the Sichuan earthquake. It will be attended by approximately 23,000 people, and G-Dragon will perform with a great number of prominent Chinese stars.
The concert rep stated, “We invited G-Dragon because we thought G-Dragon is currently one of the most influential Asian star in the world.”
Also, G-Dragon will represent K-pop at the ‘Shanghai West Bank Music Festival’, which begins on October 1 at the Xuhui District in Shanghai. The rapper will be having his performance on the second day.
