Crying Nut wins first round of court battle against CNBLUE
In the midst of the hot battle between the two bands, CNBLUE and FNC Entertainment filed an injunction in July to get Crying Nut to stop spreading malicious rumors but the Seoul Central District Court recently rejected the petition, ruling in favor for Crying Nut.
It was reported that Judge Kang Hyung Joo rejected CNBLUE and their agency FNC Entertainment’s request forcing Crying Nut members to stop spreading rumors. The court ruled in favor for Crying Nut saying that the indie band’s claim is nothing more than their reason for the lawsuit.
Since filing the suit, Crying Nut has talked online and in the local media about the dispute, saying CNBLUE should take responsibility for the infringement. You may know that Crying Nut filed a lawsuit against CNBLUE after the idol band performed Crying Nut’s song without permission, which went on to be recorded and sold in Japan through a DVD.
