2PM member Chan-sung will be taking on a role in a Korean-Chinese movie titled "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".
According to JYP Entertainment on July 31st, Chan-sung will be taking on the role of "Ji Oh" in the film "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", a joint project between JYP Pictures and China Oriental Performing Arts Group. He'll be supporting his label mate Wei Da Xun, who will be playing the lead role in the movie.
The movie will be based on the theme of teenage self discovery. Chan-sung's character "Ji Oh" is the youngest member of an idol group called "Stars", similar to Chan-sung's role in his own real-life group 2PM.
The movie will premiere in China later this year.
