In MBC FM4U "Kim Shin Young's Noon Song Request" aired today, Kim Shin Young sent condolences to the victims and families of the Korean sinking ferry incident.

During the opening of her show, Kim Shin Young said, "How much would you be hurting if you lost your loved one? We really hope that the lost ones will return to their families as soon as they can."
She said, "I woke up around 6AM this morning and the first thing I did was look on the internet. It was my hope for at least one more person to be rescued. My heart is so uneasy and sad. I even get mad thinking 'why did this have to happen?'," tearing up and not being able to continue.
She also said, "I heard it's raining in Jindo. This is so sad. I also think about how traumatic it must've been to those who were rescued. Please take care of them."
Yesterday, the Jindo ferry that was on its way to Jeju Island with high school students and teachers on aboard sank. Of 475 people aboard, about 290 have been rescued so far and 9 were found dead.
