Super Junior’s Kyuhyun reveals his thoughts on leaving ‘Mama Mia’


On October 27th broadcast of KBS 2TV variety show ‘Mamma Mia’, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun wrapped up his 5-month hosting duty and revealed his thoughts on leaving the show.

At the end of the show, Kyuhyun shared, “I recorded ‘Mamma Mia’ for nearly 20 times and I learned a lot from Park Mi Sun noona, and Lee Young Ja noona. My love for family has grown deeper and I got to call my mom more often. It was a nice experience.”

Kyuhyun had to leave ‘Mamma Mia’ after a fall reshuffling by KBS as the show was shifted to Wednesday night, which is the same timeslot as ‘Radio Star’ where he’s currently appearing.

Lee Young Ja also teased Kyuhyun saying that he should ditch ‘Radio Star’ for ‘Mamma Mia’ instead, but Kyuhyun said, “I was there for two years, so I can’t because of loyalty.”

T-ara wants fans to pick jacket image for new single


T-ara will be coming back with another single in December and they are asking fans which jacket image they like the best for the girls’ upcoming retro track “What Should I Do”.

Core Contents Media revealed that from the 28th to the 30th, T-ara fans will have the opportunity to vote for the jacket image for T-ara’s “What Should I Do” on the group’s official fan cafe. The most popular jacket image will be used for the official single.

Also, five lucky fans who vote in the contest will be invited to take part in the “What Should I Do” music video filming and will be able to experience the song and concept before anyone else.

Meanwhile, T-ara will release “What Should I Do” on December 2. The song is a remake of the 1997 hit song “What Should I Do” by the Sand Pebbles, to be rearranged by Shinsadong Tiger to add a new modern twist.

G-Dragon shows his loyalty to YG Entertainment


Big Bang’s G-Dragon recently talked about his relationship with YG Entertainment.

G-Dragon appeared on the October 26th broadcast of KBS 2TV ‘Entertainment Weekly’ for an interview. When the reporter asked, “Do you plan to be signed with YGE forever”, he jokingly replied, “I am still young.”

The reporter continued, “Would you want to go to JYP Entertainment?”. G-Dragon answered, “I don’t think I’ll go to another agency. YG is like family”, expressing his loyalty to YG Entertainment.

About the founder of YG, Yang Hyun Suk, he commented, “I have known him for so long and I see him very frequently. We have a lot of chance to talk and I feel very close to him.”

During the interview, G-Dragon also explained why there were so many surveillance cameras at the YG building. He shared, “There are so many rooms in the building, and it is very difficult to find the artists and staff. So, our boss installed it to make things a bit easier.”

G-Dragon jokingly added, “It was also for a better communication, but I feel like being watched. When you’re sleeping, he contacts you asking why you’re sleeping.”

Dal Shabet’s Jiyul suffers from an ankle injury


It has been belatedly revealed that Dal Shabet’s Jiyul has suffered from an ankle injury, leading the group to temporarily promote with five members.

According to Happy Face Entertainment, “Jiyul missed her step while walking down the stairs on October 24th and injured her right ankle. She will be focusing on the recovery for the time being.”

Due to her injury, Jiyul will not be able to stand on stage with Dal Shabet members at the ‘WAPOP’ event held in Seoul Uhrinyi Park Dome Art Hall every Saturday.

Actress Han Ga In transformed into a ballerina for the November issue of fashion magazine, ‘Harper’s Bazaar’.

Han Ga In, who is known for her unchanging beauty, is seen wearing a nude color top paired with black tights and displayed her youthful figure with her graceful dance moves.

In the accompanying interview, the actress revealed that she has maintained a sexy and healthy body by taking modern dance. “Through dance, I am able to regulate my mental health and boost my energy levels.”

SECRET’s Song Jieun wraps up promotion for “False Hope”


After her successful solo comeback, SECRET’s Song Jieun is finally wrapping up her promotional activities for “False Hope”.

On October 27th, Jieun posted on her Twitter, “With today’s Inkigayo over, I have now completed promotions for ‘False Hope’^___^ Thank you for cheering me on until the end. My abilities to express my feelings are not enough so how can I find a way to express it fully.. I’ll come back soon with a SECRET album~~~Byeee!!”

SECRET’s main vocalist Song Jieun recently returned to fans as a soloist with her ballad single “False Hope”. After four weeks of promotions, she is finally concluding her activities and will rejoin SECRET to prepare for a comeback.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon shares a lovely group photo


Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who has been treating fans with a series of selca and other eye candies, has finally shared a lovely photo of the whole group, much to the delight of the fans.

On October 28th, Taeyeon uploaded the photo above with the short caption, “A YO ���� #smtown #gg”. In the photo, the nine girls spared time to show their lovely smiles and poses for the camera while enjoying a meal together.

Girls’ Generation visited Japan for the ‘SM Town Live World Tour III in Tokyo’ held at the Tokyo Dome on October 26 and 27. Along with other SM Entertainment artists, the group sent a total audience of 100,000 into a frenzy with their great performances.
