The singer/rapper joins fellow headliner Girls' Generation along with SPICA, CNBLUE, IU and more in L.A. this summer

Billboard can exclusively reveal that K-pop superstar G-Dragon is the latest act performing at KCON, America's premiere K-pop festival featuring concerts, fan meet-and-greets, panels, Korean TV and movie stars and more. After unveiling a new collaboration with Missy Elliot at KCON 2013, the singer/rapper headlines the first of KCON's two nights of concerts.

G-Dragon headlines the first night of concerts at KCON. After growing to two days of festival activity last year, the convention now boasts two nights of concerts. K-pop music chart program "M COUNTDOWN" will be filmed onsite and promises to feature longer sets by the performers. Get your first look at the lineup below that includes just-added girl group SPICA, making their debut U.S. performance.

Saturday, Aug. 9: G-Dragon, IU, Jung Joon-Young, Teen Top and VIXX
Sunday, Aug. 10: Girls' Generation, B1A4, BTS, CNBLUE, and SPICA

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, July 1, with more ticketing options coming days later. Tickets can be bought at KCONUSA.com. KCON 2014 hits Los Angeles' Memorial Sports Arena on August 9 and 10.

C-Clown Is Ready For A Comeback - New EP Due Out On July 8

 

July is almost here and it looks like we'll have a busy month keeping up with all the comebacks! C-Clown announced on June 28 that their return is not far off.

Six-member boy group C-Clown revealed their plans to release a new mini-album on July 8, adding their names to the ever-growing list of K-Pop stars making summer comebacks.

The group made a comeback earlier this year as well - releasing their single "Justice" in mid-February. The new mini-album, however, will be their first since Shaking Heart dropped in April 2013.

C-Clown is comprised of six members - Rome, Siwoo, Ray, Kang Jun, TK, and Maru - who debuted in 2012 under Yedang Entertainment. Since then they have released three mini-albums and have promoted four singles.

In addition to the news of a new EP, C-Clown gave fans a glimpse of what's in store with the release of the first in a steady stream of teaser photos.

The first picture features member TK with wet hair and a towel on his head. The writing on the picture reads, "Meet me" and already has fans guessing what it could mean.

The image was shared through the C-Clown official Instagram account.

A Pink Talks About the Concept for Their Next Comeback

A Pink, in a recent meeting with News1, revealed their album concept for their next comeback, which will be later this year. They said, “We’re working hard on the next album, and we’re doing our best to get back on stage as soon as possible.”

“Eunji and Chorong will continue with their solo activities, including acting, among other things. We are also preparing for activities in Japan.”

When asked about their new concept, A Pink said, “It’s not a sexy concept, and it’s a bit different from ‘Mr. Chu.’ We’re trying to make changes that are still within the scope of our style. We will be going for a more mature concept next.”

A Pink member Eunji, who is currently filming the KBS drama “Trot Lovers,” said, “I’ve been watching the team practice through video, and I’m becoming more and more of a fan these days.”

GOT7 to Launch Japanese Tour Prior to Making Official Debut in Japan

GOT7 will be launching the GOT7 1st Japan Tour 2014, prior to making its official debut in Japan.

JYP Entertainment announced the information for the upcoming tour to GOT7’s official mobile fan club members in Japan and began ticket sales.

JYP announced on June 30, “Although GOT7 has not made its official debut in Japan, it will be launching a national tour beginning on October 7, performing nine concerts. This reflects the country’s keen interest and expectations for the group, which has not even debuted yet.”

GOT7 also launched its first showcase in Japan on April 4, titled GOT7 Showcase 1st Impact in Japan, and is currently promoting song A, released on June 23.

EXO Chanyeol's Sister Park Yura Delivers News Of Outsider-Rap Star Collaboration 'Nice Weather'

EXO member Chanyeol isn't the only recognizable face in his family.

The popular K-Pop star's older sister, Park Yura, is a well-known TV reporter for CBS and recently appeared in a new teaser video for Korean speed rapper Outsider and hip-hop group Rap Star's new collaboration single "Nice Weather."

In the 30-second video clip, Yura delivers the news that a typhoon on its way to hit the hip-hop scene.

Of course, it is not a real typhoon, but a new single that is due out on July 2.

Many fans are excited for the new song, as it has been quite some time since Outsider made a comeback. The 31-year-old is counted among the world's fastest rappers, with an incredible speed of 21 syllables per second. Last summer, he released his long-awaited third EP after a three-year hiatus and "Nice Weather" marks his first 2014 release. For the project, Outsider collaborated with hip-hop trio Rap Star.

A bonus fun fact, Chanyeol is reportedly a big fan of Outsider, and his sister's appearance in the teaser is said to be a nice gesture among siblings.

Fans of EXO who have seen the "Nice Weather" teaser have remarked that Yura and Chanyeol bare a striking resemblance to one another, proving good looks must run in the family!
