T-ara's Boram and Hyomin attended the 1st Birthday of Kim Taewoo's Daughter

On June 29th, T-ara's Hyomin and Boram attended the party for the 1st birthday of Kim Taewoo's daughter.

We know that Hyomin and Taewoo both appeared in Invincible Youth before and it's good to see that they have kept friendship.

Amy Tangles with the Law Again

In November 2012, Korean-American actress Amy (real name Lee Yoon Ji) received an eight month prison sentence and two years of probation for abusing Propofol. Now she is in trouble with the law again. On June 29, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office announced that Lee had been charged with 15 counts of violating the Act of the Control of Narcotics for using Zolpidem.

According to the prosecution, from November to December 2013 Lee received a total of 85 tablets of Zolpidem from one Ms. Kwon on four separate occasions. Lee and Kwon met at the West Seoul Probation Office, where both have been undergoing mandatory education on drug use. The Prosecutor’s Office explained that even though she is still on probation for her offense in 2012, she was indicted without being jailed due to the fact that she received a legitimate prescription for Zolpidem last June and has tested negative for Propofol use during her probationary period.

Taeyang’s ‘Eyes, Nose, Lips’ MV Reaches Over 10 Million Views Shared by vip4daesung on June 29, 2014

The music video for Taeyang’s title song on his second album, “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” has reach 10 million views on YouTube gaining a lot of popularity.

The music video was revealed on June 2 and as of noon on June 29 it reached 10,054,758 views (approx 372,398.4 views a day for 27 days). “Eyes, Nose, Lips” expresses the yearning one feels after their lover leaves them. The song is receiving a lot of love as it has been revealed that the lyrics were written based on Taeyang’s personal experience.

The music video is receiving a lot of love for its simplicity. Without the use of expensive production and special effects, it focused on Taeyang’s voice and his charming voice.

Covers of “Eyes, Nose, Lips” have been receiving a lot of attention as well as Akdong Muscian and Epik High’s Tablo uploaded their covers on YouTube. The covers were uploaded on June 29 and each video reached over 2 million and 1 million, respectively.

This song has taken over many online music sites and on June 29, on the Melon chart, the song was first place.

Also, “Eyes, Nose, Lips” was placed first on various music shows on the stations Mnet, MBC, SBS, and KBS 2TV. The song was placed first twice on Mnet’s “M!Countdown” and SBS’s “Inkigayo.” He has also received six trophies from various music shows for being first place.

Meanwhile, after appearing on “Inkigayo,” he is planning on meeting his fans at the Seoul Time Square.

Rain Shows Excitement For His New Movie 'The Prince' - Shares Official Movie Poster Through Twitter

K-Pop superstar Rain shared his feelings about his new Hollywood movie.

Rain, who had his first major US movie industry breakout in 2009's Ninja Assassin, is back in action again for the upcoming crime thriller, The Prince.

On June 27, the star shared the movie poster for the film on his Twitter account and left a message for his fans regarding the project.

"Hello... How's your health during this hot summer?" he tweeted. "Soon, the movie 'The Prince' that I participated in will first open in the US. I tried out the part of a sexy, evil killer for the first time. It's a small part, but I did my best with a humble heart."

A trailer for the upcoming film was revealed the day before and includes glimpses of Rain in action as he plays Mark, the hit-man sidekick to Bruce Willis's Omar. The action-packed thriller follows the story of a retired Las Vegas crime boss, portrayed by Jason Patric, who re-enters the crime world with his friend Sam (John Cusack) in order to rescue his kidnapped daughter.

The Prince was filmed on location in Mobile, Alabama late last year and is scheduled for release in limited US theaters beginning on August 22.

2NE1 Chooses to Better Themselves Than Focus on Haters

Popular girl group 2NE1 was in Singapore for their “2NE1 World Tour – All or Nothing” held on June 28. Hours before the concert was scheduled to start, the four members- CL, Minzy, Dara and Bom- made an appearance at an open press conference held in a shopping mall.

Ardent fans came with banners and posters. One fan was seen holding the sign asking CL to marry him while others screamed and shouted their names in a bid to get their attention. The fans were screaming so loudly that members of the media, the host and even 2NE1 themselves were struggling to hear the questions and answers during the press conference.

“CL, will you marry me?”

 

When asked how do they deal with haters, CL  responded coolly, “We have to get better everyday for our fans instead of focusing on the haters.” Haters gonna hate, that’s the way to go 2NE1!

So does 2NE1 have any hidden talents that fans are not aware of? CL said all their fans know a lot about them because of “2NE1 TV”, so there is nothing that the fans do not know. 

“I can’t hear that question.”

 

“It always feels good to be here!”

 

“I love Singapore!”

 

“CL knows how to bring out the best in us through the songs she wrote for the group.”

 

Fans were chanting “Lee Dong Wook” at one point in time, proving that BoDong couple is widely shipped by “Roommate” viewers.

 

Minzy couldn’t eat much before the concert as their costumes are belly-revealing.

 

A tired Bom without any makeup and has her shades on throughout the conference.

 

Dara on the other hand is full of smiles for the fans and media.

 

After completing their concert in Singapore, 2NE1 heads to Japan for their next “All or Nothing World Tour” concert on July 5 and 6, 12 and 13 at Yokohama and Kobe ,respectively.

Another week is here and KBS's 'Music Bank' aired its special 'Half-Year' episode; which featured special performances from some of your favorite K-Pop idols.

The stars who made their comeback were Jung Joon Young with "Teenager," K.Will made his return with "Day 1," and Untouchable had a "Take Out" for last night.

The winner for the June 27th special episode was BEAST for their new single "Good Luck". Congratulations!

K.Will is back; which he has a fresh new single titled, "Day 1." With a great upbeat while still keeping it slow, K.Will has a new track that might put him up for nomination or even a first place trophy. While Minwoo and Soyou were not on stage with him, a beautiful lady substituted for them. What do you think of K.Will's new single?

Untouchable who are comprised of members Sleepy (Kim Sung Won) and The Action (Park Kyung Wook); has a new single titled, "Take Out." Showing their awesome rapping skills, the guys entertained the audience. The message of their new single is about them being curious about the ladies they meet.

Jung Joon Young

Jung Joon Young rocked out with his new single titled, "Teenager." Known for being on the hit drama series 'We Got Married', Jung is back and entertaining the audience. What do you think of Jung Joon Young's new single?

IU came on stage wearing a beautiful white summer dress as she sang the song titled, "Friday." Once again, IU sang with her beautiful sweet voice; which the audience enjoyed.

AOA

The angels of AOA came on stage to perform their new single titled, "Short Hair." Wearing a white and little blue polo t-shirt with blue shorts, the ladies looked beautiful as they light up the stage with their beauty.

MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO kicked off the show with their new single titled, "Mr. Ambiguous." MAMAMOO consists of members Solar, Moon Byul, Whee In, and Wha Sa. The ladies did a great job of entertaining the audience; which they wore a nice red and white summer dress. Are you a fan of this girls yet?

VIXX

VIXX performed their hit new single titled, "Eternity." Wearing pink suits, the guys looked great as they sang with lots of energy and charisma. The audience were screaming from beginning until end; which this is one performance that is going to be kept in their minds for an "Eternity." Who says guys do not look good wearing pink?

Boyfriend

Boyfriend came on stage with their upbeat and R&B single titled, "Obsession." The guys wore baggy outfits to give off they b-boy concept.

Special Performance:

AOA, BESTie, Girl's Day

AOA, BESTie, and Girl's Day got together and performed Girls' Generation's hit single titled, "Mr. Mr." The ladies looked great as they wore a dark suit. Also, they put a little sexy into it. They did a good job and brought the same energy just like if Girls' Generation were performing it. What do you think of their performance?

BTS

BTS performed their version of TVXQ's "Something" as they looked great wearing a suit. Though the performance was short, BTS kept the audience entertained. What is your opinion regarding their version of TVXQ's "Something?"
