Kim Soo Hyun Donates Approximately $200,000 USD to Charity Supporting Children in China

Actor Kim Soo Hyun recently donated 1.2 million Yuan (approximately 200,000 USD) to help support children in China.

After finishing up his fan meetings in Guangzhou and Beijing on April 4 and 6, Kim Soo Hyun attended Gucci’s flagship store’s charity fashion show in Beijing.

On April 8, he teamed up with Italian luxury brand Gucci to donate to China’s first foundation CCTF (China Children and Teenagers Fund). They aim to help improve the quality of life for children by supporting their body and mind improvement, along with enforcing national policy on equal rights for both sexes. There are approximately 1,200 children being sponsored through the program. With the additional support, the foundation plans to build a treatment center for Chinese children who encounter hardship.

“I wanted to return even a little bit of the huge love and interest from the public,” explained Kim Soo Hyun. “I’m happy to know that I’m able to participate in the warm effort to help children overcome their difficult conditions.”

Kim Soo Hyun donated the listed amount and posted with CCTF’s secretary general Jin Hyo Ha and Gucci’s CEO Patrizio di Marco.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is currently touring Asia for his fan tour and will visit Indonesia, Singapore, and Japan from now until the middle of May.

One of the most representative actresses of her generation, Park Shin-hye will be embarking on a world tour to meet with her overseas fans.

The 2014 Park Shin-hye World Tour: Story Of Angel will begin with the actress's attendance at the 2014 DramaFever Awards followed by a fan meeting in New York on May 1st.

Following stops will include countries Thailand, China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, The Philippines, as well as other cities in the US.

T.O.P To Hold Exhibition As Celebration Of The Pictorial Records Release

Big Bang's T.O.P will hold an exhibition "FROM TOP EXHIBITION" on May 1-4 at the JnB Gallery to celebrate his pictorial records release.

T.O.P's first pictorial record "1^st PICTORIAL RECORDS FROM TOP" will be released on April 9; the exhibition held to celebrate its release will carry undisclosed images of T.O.P in addition to images from the pictorials.

The pictorial records, filmed with photographer Hong Jang Hyun in New York last December, is filled with T.O.P's 27 year-old charm.

T.O.P poured his energy on the exhibition even through his busy filming and performance schedule, hand-selecting each picture to be displayed in the show.

The exhibition, held for 4 days, will be open to anyone that has purchased the pictorial records; even without pictorial record purchase, tickets can be bought on-site and through the G Market website.

The tickets for the exhibition go on sale on April 11; Melon will also send out invitations to select random fans.

AKMU (Akdong Musician) Reveals a “No Plastic Surgery” Clause with YG Entertainment

Sibling duo Akdong Musician, now officially known as AKMU after debut, explained a clause in the contract with YG Entertainment.

On April 9, SBS’ “Midnight Entertainment” released a recent interview with AKMU.

“One of the clauses in the contract states that we can’t do plastic surgery,” said member Lee Chan Hyuk. “It wasn’t originally in the contract, but we put it in. However, YG just laughed and said, ‘We don’t do stuff like that.’”

Lee Chan Hyuk continued, “But, I do want to get my teeth fixed after we finish promoting our first album. I want to fix my jaw with orthognathic surgery.”

Sister Lee Soo Hyun revealed her complex when she asked, “Then what am I supposed to do with my nose then?”
